Two weeks of summer holidays are pretty much fun. We’ve been in Switzerland’s sunniest area «Ticino» for a week, spent a day in Murten and had a beautiful weekend in Lyon, France.
Let’s start in
To reach the Ticino from the area we live in we had to pass the San Gottardo. A huge mountain in Switzerland. There’s two ways to pass it. Either you take the third longest tunnel in the world (16.9 km) or you drive over the Passo San Gottardo. Which is way more beautiful. Check out the view that you have up there.
We then arrived at our residence for the next week: The Kurhaus Cademario.
Here’s another shot of the view we had from the small village.
The first of a few trips was to Ascona. A beautiful city on the shore of Lago di Maggiore.
Another trip was to Lugano, which is located on the shore of Lago di Lugano, which was like half an hour by car down the hill.
